Meet Someone New at the Nanto Christmas Tea Party!
The Youth Division of the Nanto City Society of Commerce and Industry is hosting the Nanto Christmas Tea Party on Saturday, December 12.
Around 10 men aged 24–45, all members of the Youth Division, will be taking part.
We're now inviting around 10 single women aged approximately 22–45 to join them!
At the party, you can get to know one another while blending your own Christmas tea and making Christmas ornaments.
For the tea blending, you'll choose your favorite herbs and tea leaves, then enjoy your own festive blend with a slice of cake. We tried a similar activity at another event, and it was a big hit!
This is the first time the Christmas Tea Party has been organized, with the hope of creating an opportunity for single men and women to meet.
If a formal matchmaking event feels a little daunting, this could be a lovely, relaxed way to make a new connection. With enjoyable activities to help everyone get chatting, we hope you'll feel comfortable coming along!
A Little About the Organizers
You may be wondering what the Youth Division of the Nanto City Society of Commerce and Industry does.
It's a group made up mainly of young local business owners and people preparing to take over family businesses. Members help bring the community to life through activities such as running stalls at the Fukuno Yotaka Festival and Fukumitsu Netsuokuri Festival, organizing Yukata de Dance, and much more. Our staff are members, too!
If you've visited the yakisoba noodle or takoyaki octopus-ball stalls at local festivals, you might even recognize one of the men taking part: “I'm sure I've seen him somewhere before!”
If you'd like to join us, please sign up through the event information page.
Come and enjoy a little Christmas cheer with us!
